It's just as fun today as it was back then and the game looks great. It's the game that got me into skateboarding and Ska music. I played this game for hours daily as a kid. Reviewed in the United States on July 3, 2021 If you don't this is a good travel back in time to the good old days.

The PS5 one is nice and you can really feel it in the controller, but not worth the extra money if you already have the PS4 version. Reviewed in the United States on July 5, 2021 Also the current price is a bit steep even with graphical adjustments I'd say at the very least wait for a sale for it to be below $20.
The gameplay doesn't hold up in my opinion which is a great shame. Keep that in you memory and play something else. No question they will demolish this game. Overall the game is exactly for the diehard fans. Keep it the same the casual fans would be done. That is the problem if they modernized it the diehard fans would be mad. It really went from me going "neat I remember this" to "Lord this is the 7th time of me trying to get the letters I think I am done here". I played these games as a kid and my nostalgia ran out quicker then I would've thought. This is fun at first even a bit Zen, but after awhile it becomes tedious and annoying. It is the same maps and you must complete the task in 2 minutes to unlock the next stage and do it all over again. Unfortunately what they are doesn't have any form of legs to keep interest. Don't get me wrong the games are fun for what they are. They didn't touch the game mechanically which is fine for diehard fans, but for the rest of gamers it feels a bit dated. They fit the modern consoles which says a lot being that these were originally on the PlayStation 1. I will say unlike the "remastered" on the Xbox 360 that came out a few years ago these actually look great. They are the same exact games just with updated graphics.
What is there to say really? If you grew up with Tony Hawk games and want to revisit them then this is for you.
